Guess who’s coming to dinner?

These little guys were a little slow to warm up but by the end of the session, I had received a dinner invite.  I was completely flattered but had to decline as my own little ones were waiting at home for me.  I took a rain check and you better believe I will be cashing it in, because these guys were a hoot!

{The Photo Junkies: Photography Classes}

Heather Rega Photography is teaming up with Donnell Probst Photography – to bring some photography classes to the neighborhood!  We are offering small class size and even the option to customize your own class with your own friends!

First Session: Basics Class, Saturday, January 22nd, 2011 10am – 4pm (4-6pm optional happy hour)

Required: Digital SLR Camera

Recommended: Fixed aperture lens (i.e. 50mm f/1.8), camera manual

Experience Level: Beginner

Availability: Limit 6 participants

A few of my personal faves!

 

These little cuties are my very own niece and nephew and I couldn’t love them more if they were my own.  We had a very quick visit when they were in town for the Thanksgiving Holidays, and although this little man has been tortured with a camera since he was born we were still able to snap a few of the handsome man in his “blazer”.

St. Albans is amazing in the fall and we took full advantage of it!

 

These adorable families gathered for a photo for their company Christmas card and it was such a beautiful day and setting, we stole away here and there to do some smaller family shots.  

 

Calling all Talent Scouts!

 

These kids were soooo sweet and loving to each other and as a bonus were total naturals at posing, I wish they would show my children a thing or two. 

One Lone Momma in a Sea of Boys!

This session was so fun because it definitely started out as the Charlie show, Charlie the nearly 2 year old was pretty specific on where he wanted to sit and where he wanted to go(which is pretty standard, as far as toddlers go), and by the end he was posing with one knee up and totally on board, he totally cracked me up.  Big brother Patrick was so helpful and patient with his brothers, I offered to hire him as my assistant.  Baby Carter never made a peep, and totally rolled with the punches.

These two brothers were so areeable to work with, as long as we made time to stop for the occasional leaf fight and football toss.

They even managed to put up with a hug from mom.  Gotta get ‘em while their still sweet!

Longview Farm! Who knew?

I would like to thank this beautiful family for suggesting we have our session at Longview Farm.  My children and I had attempted to find it one day when we were out and about with no specific directions and gave up.  What an amazing park.  There literally is something there for everyone, the amenities abound.  

I am so happy to have had such a fun family show me around.

 

Everything’s “Fall”ing into place for this family

These friends have been working tirelessly for months transitioning from one home full of family memories to a beautiful new home just ripe with the possibilities of making many more happy memories. 

We decided to kick it off with a family photo shoot highlighting their gorgeous property.

Charlee’s 6 Months and sitting pretty!

I have had the great fortune to be able to watch this little doll growing up before my eyes!  Since Charlee is now sitting we decided to head out for a family shoot at Faust Park, it was a beautiful morning with a beautiful family.  We finally got the tutu picture.  Success!  Here is a little preview of some of my favorites from the day.

While visiting my sister in Savannah, Georgia, I was blessed  to be able to meet several women who are single parenting while their husbands fight for our country.  It was an interesting perspective to see first hand  the  lives affected by soldiers going off to war, and I was amazed at the women’s strength and resiliency and the bonds they are forming with their fellow wives to create a strong support network.  Amy thank you for being such a good friend to Erica!

Little Miss C came back to see me! 3 Mos Old and getting cuter by the day!
